NCC /NSS /Rovers

NCC (National Cadet Corps)


NCC is a Tri-Services Organization, comprising Army, Navy and Air Force, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. Two separate Senior Division units of NCC exist in the college for boys and girls. The boys Senior Division (SD) unit has 52 seats and the girls Senior Wing (SW) unit has 06 Cadets. Admissions are granted on the basis of physical fitness and extra-curricular achievements. 75 percent presence in the NCC parades is mandatory. Outdoor Camps are compulsory for the cadets. B, C. Certificates are provided to the cadets on successful completion of the Courses. Dr. Pankaj Kumar is NCC ANO in this college.

NSS (National Service Scheme )

Two units of NSS for boys and girls exist in the college. Under its regular activities, one day programmes and 7 days special camps are organized. Undergraduate students compulsorily need to get themselves registered in NCC or NSS. Total Enrollment in NSS is 200 Student. Shri. B.S. Rawat and Dr. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi are Programme Officers of NSS.

Rovers & Rangers :

Students has one more option for opting Rovers and Rangers. Admissions are granted on the basis of physical fitness and extra-curricular achievements. Total 24 Rovers (Boys) and 24 Rangers (Girls) are in the college. Dr. Ramsurat is coordinator of Rovers and Rangers.

Network Resource Centre :

With the courtesy of the University Grants Commission, internet connectivity is available for all college students and the research students with the prior permission of the in-charge of Network Resource Centre during their study period. Prof. K.C. Dudpuri is coordinator of UGC - NRC lab

ICT Lab:

In college, the Computer Training Programme has started since 2012 to make higher education employment oriented. The aim conceptualizes to impart professional computer training to the university level students along with their normal degrees so they can easily get employment. The reference books for the training are being made available by the institution free of cost in library. After completion of the training courses, certificates are provided to qualified trainee by the college.


Red ribbon club was formed on 08 March 2010. The committee members include Dr. Kumkum Rautela President, Shri B.S. Rawat, Dr. R.K Dwivedi, Secretary, Dr. Naithani and Shri Anuj Khandalwal and two students, (one boy and one girl). The main aim of club formation is to organize free blood donation camps and to make aware and educate the general public about the dreaded HIV/AIDS and other environmental diseases. Training programme for peer educator is being held in every year with the collaboration of NSS.
